Sadly Anne Storrer passed away on the 4th March. She had been suffering from Dementia for many years and got a bad chest infection in the end.
Anne was Chairwoman of the ANBS for several years and someone I really looked up to in that position. She always impressed me with her authority, knowledge and the respect she earnt from the rest of the committee. Although she had such a kind manner as chair she was certainly in control.
Most will remember her though for her smart ‘Brocken’ AN’s.
If anyone new Anne better than I , could you please write something for the ANBS Digest and an extended article perhaps for the ANBS 50th Anniversary book. Maggi Franklin is doing something.
